Ambassador Charlene Barshefsky, former US Trade Representative and a member of President Clinton’s Cabinet, is currently Chair of Parkside Global Advisors, where she assists multinational corporations in market access, investment, and acquisition strategies.

Prior to chairing Parkside Global, Ambassador Barshefsky was Senior International Partner at WilmerHale where she chaired the firm’s trade and investment practice. She is long renowned in the US and around the world for her negotiating, policy, strategic, and legal skills in transactions with governments, state-owned enterprises, and private parties, as well as a sophisticated policymaker and advisor.  
 
Barshefsky was elected a Trustee of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute in 2008.
