Description
This interactive module connects to an online citizen science platform for identifying animals in photos collected by trail cameras in Gorongosa National Park in Mozambique.
Scientists in Gorongosa National Park are using remote trail cameras to monitor and study animal populations in the park. These cameras are equipped with motion sensors that snap photos when an animal moves in front of them. The trail cameras have collected hundreds of thousands of photos (and counting), and scientists need help identifying the animals.
Students using WildCam Gorongosa to see and identify the animals captured in these photos contribute to the park’s research.
