As Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Treasurer, Lochte provides financial analysis, expertise and sound business advice in support of strategic and operational decision-making. She ensures that Finance and Treasury functions proactively support HHMI’s programs, values, and operations. Lochte reports to the Board of Trustees on HHMI’s financial condition and strategies.

Lochte joined HHMI in August 2022 as Deputy CFO and Assistant Treasurer. Prior to HHMI, Lochte was Vice President Finance & Administration at Goucher College where she was responsible for the College’s financial, endowment, treasury, and administrative functions; events and conference services; and government and community relations. Prior to Goucher, Lochte served in a variety of financial and administrative leadership positions at Johns Hopkins University. She began her career in public accounting advising clients on audit, tax, and consulting matters.

Lochte earned a BBA in Accounting and an MBA in Finance at Loyola University, Maryland. She is a CPA and a CGMA and holds certificates in Skilled Facilitation and Project Management.
