Nikola P. Pavletich, Ph.D.

Dr. Pavletich is also Member and Chairman of the Structural Biology Program at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He received his B.S. degree in chemistry from the California Institute of Technology, and his Ph.D. degree in molecular biology and genetics from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. His postdoctoral training was with Carl Pabo at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT SUMMARY:
Nikola Pavletich is interested in understanding the structures, functions and mechanisms of proteins that are altered in cancer. Current research focuses on pathways that respond to DNA damage and on the cell cycle and related growth regulatory pathways.
