Dr. Medzhitov is also Professor of Immunobiology at Yale School of Medicine. He received his Ph.D. degree in biochemistry from the Moscow State University. His postdoctoral research was done with Charles Janeway at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Medzhitov recently received the Blavatnik Award for Young Scientists from the New York Academy of Sciences and the Howard Taylor Ricketts Award from the University of Chicago.
