Mitzi I. Kuroda, Ph.D.

Mitzi I. Kuroda

Dr. Kuroda is also Professor of Genetics at Harvard Medical School and a member of the Harvard-Partners Center for Genetics and Genomics at Brigham and Women's Hospital. She received her undergraduate degree from Tulane University and her Ph.D. degree from Stanford University, where she studied with Charles Yanofsky. Her postdoctoral work was done with Bruce Baker at Stanford University. Dr. Kuroda is a past recipient of the National Science Foundation Presidential Young Investigator and Searle Scholar Awards.



RESEARCH ABSTRACT SUMMARY:

Mitzi Kuroda is interested in chromatin organization, epigenetic regulation, sex chromosomes, and dosage compensation.
