William F. Dietrich, Ph.D.

William F. Dietrich

Dr. Dietrich is Associate Professor of Genetics at Harvard Medical School. He received his undergraduate degree in biological sciences from Carnegie Mellon University and his Ph.D. degree in biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he studied genetic disease models in mice in the laboratory of Eric Lander. For his postdoctoral work, he extended his genomic mapping work as a research scientist at the Whitehead Institute/MIT Center for Genome Research.



RESEARCH ABSTRACT SUMMARY:

William Dietrich is interested in identifying genes important for determining susceptibility and/or resistance to infectious disease.
