Sergey Lukyanov, Ph.D., D.Sc.

Sergey  Lukyanov

Professor Lukyanov is chief of laboratory at the Shemyakin-Ovchinnikov Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry, Russian Academy of Sciences, in Moscow, where he received his Ph.D. in 1994 and his D.Sc. in 1999. He has received support from the Russian Academy of Sciences and the European Office of Aerospace Research and Development. Professor Lukyanov is a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences.



RESEARCH ABSTRACT SUMMARY:

The major fields of Sergey Lukyanov's scientific interest center on molecular genomics methods, such as gene discovery and analysis, gene expression analysis, cDNA subtractive hybridization, and SNP detection; another focus is on identification of GFP-like fluorescent proteins and their development and applications.
