Stefan Pulver is a junior fellow at Janelia Farm. He received a B.A. in biology from Colby College and a Ph.D. in neuroscience from Brandeis University. At Brandeis, he studied motor control in lobsters and flies with Eve Marder and Leslie Griffith, respectively. He went on to do a postdoc in the lab of Mike Bate at the University of Cambridge, where he studied the embryonic development of central pattern generating networks in Drosophila. At Janelia, Pulver studies the mechanisms and development of segmental coordination in the Drosophila larval locomotor system.
