Zhe Liu, Ph.D.

Zhe Liu Zhe Liu is a junior fellow at Janelia Farm. He received a B.S. degree from Tsinghua University, China, and an M.S. degree in structural biology and biochemistry Tsinghua University's School of Medicine. He received his Ph.D. degree in molecular and cell biology from the University of California, Berkeley. At UC Berkeley he studied transcriptional regulation of stem cell pluripotency under his advisor Robert Tjian (currently president, HHMI).

RESEARCH ABSTRACT SUMMARY:

Zhe Liu is interested in dissecting cell-fate control mechanisms during animal development.
