Transitioning to a model that will us to continue to involve scientists with teachers, beyond the period of HHMI support. We plan to address this challenge by investigating the use of two-way web conferencing to facilitate teacher-scientist partnerships and scientist interactions with students in classrooms.
Use of web tools and social media to disseminate science teaching information. We are just beginning to use a social networking site and blog features on our websites to allow greater interaction by users with our websites. These improvements are ongoing.
