There was experienced a decrease in the number of applicants for the EXPLORE program from previous years. There will be increased attempts to disseminate the application and information materials such as at high school Career Days, utilization of contacts through the area IHS, and other contacts within the reservation or school setting.
Acomplishing a comprehensive evaluation of the outcomes of the program. There is a need for ongoing survey of the students as to college plans, career plans. Need to set up and maintain a comprehensive database and a need to for a systematic evaluation of the program. There are currently attempts to set up and maintain the database and to do the program evaluation.

Indians in to Medicine (INMED). A federally-funded health career education program located at the University of North Dakota. Primarily directed at professional level students but also has a summer canmp component for middle school and high school students
