  • About 59% of the HSTA graduates are majoring in a health science or technology major.
  • The legislature held the funding for the program above $1million in a year where budgets were crunched.
Challenges
  • Funding was reduced by the state legislature and theUniversity attempted to reduce it as well.
  • Keeping under-represented students at above 30%
  • Keeping a healthy balance of power and influence between members of the partnership
