  • The laboratory based biotechnology curriculum supplement guide available from CityLab contains the following investigations: Mystery of theCrooked Cell: an investigation into the molecular basis of sickle cell anemia Case of the Crown Jewels: an application of DNA restriction analysis to crime scene investigation Crucial Concentration: the quantitation of unknown samples of protein using a Lowry Assay In Search of the Body's Antibiodies: principles of the immune system are used to understand and apply the Enzyme linked Immunosorbent Assay to model screenig of blood serum for HIV Entangled in the Web: Transformation in the context of spider silk
  • SummerLab Biotechnology Curriculum describes a weeklong, 6 hour per day, laboratory-based program for students in grades 9 - 12 to learn and apply fundamental principles in biotechnology. CityLab is pleased to share planning and procedure with parties who are interested in using teh SummerLab program as a model for similar programs.
  • Citylab is a resource for parties interested in developing a Mobile Laboratory program.
