Grants

Mission & Objectives

The Science Education department is committed to:

  • strengthening education in biology and related sciences,

  • advancing public understanding and appreciation of science, and

  • broadening access to science for all persons, including women and members of groups underrepresented in the sciences.

HHMI's grants and fellowships, administered by the Science Education department, provide funding for pre-K–12 and undergraduate science education, graduate science education and medical student research training.
