SUMMER MEDICAL FELLOWS PROGRAM
New in Summer 2012!
The summer after your first or second year is an ideal time to engage in basic, translational, or applied biomedical research with an HHMI investigator, HHMI early career scientist, or Janelia scientist. The program is primarily aimed at those students who wish to explore the summer research experience with the intent of applying for the year-long program.
During 8-10 weeks of full-time research, you’ll be exposed to high-quality science, have a chance to increase your scientific knowledge and research skills, and interact with world-class investigators in a rich training environment. You can gain insight into a career as a medical scientist, and determine if you would like to continue your research training in a year-long program.
This program is for medical, dental, and veterinary students attending schools located in the United States. Up to 20 fellowships will be awarded.
