HHMI's International Research Scholars Program provides five-year grants to support promising basic biomedical research scientists working in the fields of infectious diseases and parasitology.

Eligibility
Only scientists working in the research areas specified in the program announcement are eligible to apply for grant support. The International Research Scholars Program does not consider unsolicited grant proposals or award grants for clinical trials and research on health education, health-care delivery, or health services.
