Tangled Bank Studios

Tangled Bank Studios, LLC, is a production company established and funded by HHMI. Founded in 2012 as an extension of HHMI's long-standing commitment to science education, Tangled Bank Studios is dedicated to the creation of original, visually inventive science documentaries for broadcast, theatrical, and digital distribution. Footage from every Tangled Bank Studios film or series will also be used to create short films for the classroom for HHMI's award-winning educational media program.
