SEP Lessons: An Online Lesson Plan Database
1 comment
This fast-growing database contains inquiry-based science and health lesson plans created and reviewed by the Science and Health Education Partnership (SEP), a collaboration between the University of California, San Francisco, and the San Francisco Unified School District. Lessons in biology, life science, earth science, and chemistry are available to support high-quality teaching and learning in grades kindergarten through 12. Each lesson contains everything a teacher needs to implement it—including content background and vocabulary, prerequisites, materials, connections to standards, “extensions and reflections,” and “big ideas” that get students thinking beyond the immediate topic. The database can be easily searched by subject, grade level, or key word. Readers are invited to post comments.
