If you submit your letter by e-mail, it is critical that your e-mail address be current, valid, and typographically correct. If you or your ISP use a spam filter, you may need to add our reply address, bulletin@hhmi.org, to your address book to permit delivery of our reply. Alternatively, letters may be faxed to 301-215-8863. Faxed letters must include the writer's name, postal address, and daytime phone number.
Author phone numbers and street and e-mail addresses will not be included in published letters or used by HHMI for any purpose other than verifying author identity or directly responding to the letter. Names and city/state/country information will normally be included in published letters but may be withheld on request.
Publication of letters is at the discretion of HHMI. Letters may be edited for length, clarity, and spelling, and may appear in HHMI's print and/or electronic publications such as the HHMI Bulletin web site. Author identity will be confirmed before a letter is published. Letters that do not include the required contact information will not be considered for publication. All letters become the property of the HHMI Bulletin and will not be returned. We will read every feedback e-mail received, but we may not be able to respond to each letter individually.
