Scientists use molecular models to study how molecular function relates to structure. This feature contains chemical formulas of selected molecules. The molecules can be built with economical modeling kits such as Hubbard's Organic Chemistry Molecular Model Kit and Hubbard's Molecular Models Kit. A printable expanded version of this feature is also available.

Also featured on the HHMI DVD Scanning Life's Matrix: Genes, Proteins, and Small Molecules. Available free from HHMI.
