Virtual Exhibit CreditsThe Holiday Lectures on Science Exhibit was developed with the support and guidance of the HHMI Holiday Lectures Museum Resource Group, composed of curators from Washington, D.C., area museums. The Smithsonian Institution, in cooperation with other museums, has developed a fascinating display that highlights the history of the science of seeing and hearing. The National Museum of Health and Medicine has provided the Holiday Lectures exhibit with real brain sections and larger-than-life brain models, as well as other artifacts. The John Q. Adams Center of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery Foundation has provided artifacts that document the technical progress in hearing aid development from early nonelectrical devices to the latest in cochlear implants. Script development: Drs. Satoshi Amagai, Dennis Liu, Jill Conley, and Mark Hertle.
