Virtual Exhibit Help

The 1997 HHMI Virtual Exhibit consists of seven nodes and twenty-two objects.

Using the Virtual Exhibit Map
You can use the Virtual Exhibit Map to navigate to each of the seven nodes in the exhibit. Click on one of the colored icons on the map to "jump" to that node. The color of the current node, which is displayed below the VR Window, matches the color of the node on the Virtual Exhibit Map.

Navigating inside the VR Window
Click and drag the mouse (holding the mouse button down) to navigate the node.

When the cursor changes to a hand (), you can click the mouse button to view information and detailed graphics about an object or "jump" to another node.

Hold down the shift key to zoom in.
Hold down the ctrl key to zoom out.

Displays the current node.
Opens the help screen.
Opens the software and plug-in page.
