Author Role & Responsibility
HHMI authors must select the "Author Select" option during the manuscript submission process. Author review and approval of uploaded material is not required. The publisher will bill the corresponding author for open access charges and any publication charges. Open access charges are reimbursed to HHMI laboratories subject to HHMI policy.
Publisher Role
For HHMI authors who select the open access option and pay the fee, AIP will deposit the final version of the article into PubMed Central immediately upon publication. Articles will also be immediately accessible on the AIP website.
