AUTHOR UPLOAD AND APPROVAL OF WEB VERSION REQUIRED. HHMI authors must select "Optional Open Access" for their paper at the proof stage and the paper will be made freely available immediately upon publication on journal website. Authors must also deposit papers with PubMed Central at this time and approve the final web document. The publisher will bill the corresponding author for any publication charges. Open access charges are reimbursed to HHMI laboratories subject to HHMI policy.
Publisher Role
Authors with funding from sources other than NIH will not receive assistance with article uploads.
Additional Information
Free access to all articles published online after 12 months. Authors may pay for open access immediately upon publication on the journal website and PubMed Central.
