Author Role & Responsibility
HHMI authors must pay for immediate open access on the journal website and PubMed Central. Authors may choose this option when page proofs are returned to Journals Production. The publisher will bill the corresponding author for open access charges and any publication charges. Open access charges are reimbursed to HHMI laboratories subject to HHMI policy.

Publisher Role
CSHLP will deposit all L&M articles on PubMed Central immediately if an open access fee is paid.
