Author Role & Responsibility
AUTHOR APPROVAL OF WEB VERSION REQUIRED. By agreement with Cell Press/Elsevier, HHMI authors must notify journal of HHMI affiliation at the time of article acceptance; the corresponding principal investigator will be contacted by PubMed Central and is responsible for reviewing materials that Cell Press has uploaded, and approving them. HHMI has an arrangement with Cell Press/Elsevier, for direct central payment of the uploading service and public access availability. The author will be responsible for any additional publication charges.
Publisher Role
Upon publication Cell Press/Elsevier will deposit the accepted author manuscript and supplemental material to PubMed Central, for release 6 months after publication.
Additional Information
The author manuscript with supplemental material will appear on PubMed Central 6 months following publication. The published article and supplemental material will be available to nonsubscribers on ScienceDirect 12 months following final publication.
