Author Role & Responsibility
When a manuscript is accepted, HHMI authors must select the "AuthorChoice" option and request that ACS deposit the final published version of the article to PubMed Central. Fees for AuthorChoice are based on ACS affiliation. Open access charges are reimbursed to HHMI laboratories subject to HHMI policy.

Publisher Role
Under the AuthorChoice option, ACS will deposit final, published articles to Pubmed Central upon request.
