Clayton S. Rose, PhD

Bowdoin College

Clayton S. Rose is the fifteenth president of Bowdoin College. He assumed the position on July 1, 2015. Prior to this, he was a professor of management practice at the Harvard Business School, where he focused on issues of leadership and managerial responsibility. Before joining the HBS faculty, he was a senior executive at J.P. Morgan.

Rose was elected a trustee of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute in 2009.
